Fallen World: Knox Aftermath

Rules

The short version: PvP is allowed. Exploits and out-of-game abuse are not.

Server baseline

Public server · PvP enabled · Steam secure · no password · proximity voice chat · persistent no-respawn world

Conduct
01

PvP is part of the server

PvP is enabled. Do not join expecting a protected PvE world. Ambushes, fights over resources, and player conflict are part of Knox Aftermath unless an announced event says otherwise.

02

No cheats, dupes, or exploit abuse

Do not use trainers, scripts, item duplication, packet manipulation, map exploits, or bugs to create an advantage that normal gameplay cannot provide.

03

No combat logging

Disconnecting specifically to avoid an active fight, death, capture, or other immediate player consequence is not acceptable.

04

Do not make the server unplayable

Raiding and destructive gameplay are allowed when they serve survival or conflict. Deliberately destroying critical spawn areas or server infrastructure only to stop others from playing is not.

05

Keep player conflict in the game

Harassment, threats outside the game, hate speech, doxxing, or targeted abuse are not part of PvP. Use Discord reports for problems that need staff attention.

06

Do not impersonate staff

Do not claim admin authority, fabricate server notices, or mislead players into thinking a staff decision has been made when it has not.

Death

No personal rollback

  • Project Zomboid character death is permanent for that character.
  • Staff do not restore characters or replace gear lost through normal death, PvP, infection, or bad decisions.
  • The shared world keeps moving after a death. Looted locations stay looted and cleared areas do not refill with fresh resources.
  • A new character is entering the same persistent world, not a personal reset of it.
World wipes

Persistent unless forced

  • Knox Aftermath is intended to be persistent. There is no routine wipe schedule built around refreshing loot.
  • A server-wide wipe is considered only when a Build 42 change, incompatible mod update, corruption, or major technical change makes the existing world unsafe to continue.
  • When a wipe is unavoidable, it will be announced through Fallen World channels before the reset whenever circumstances allow.
  • Normal balance changes, restarts, and mod maintenance do not automatically mean a wipe.

Reports and appeals

Bring exploit reports, harassment reports, and disputed staff actions to the Fallen World Discord with whatever evidence you have. Do not turn reports into public callout campaigns.
